Now all the trucks are getting crammed onto the streets trying to get to the Freight Station, but it can't keep up. The trucks just used my vast freeway network instead.

How do I fix this problem? To be honest, my city was actually running better without the trains. The Freight Stations cannot keep up with the volume of cargo. Here's my current setup, and I have a new set of problems. I'm not sure why the original design is recommended. The trains seem to be running better now. I destroyed that whole setup and connected the Internal and External tracks together. Problem was the Freight Stations could not keep up with the volume of cargo and the trains backed way up. I just started using the Freight Cargo Train Stations and built a big train circle while also keeping the External tracks separate from the Internal track per the guide. The Guide was very helpful, but I have some questions that are not answered. A screenshot would be pretty tough to see all of that but I’ll look into it.I have read the Freight Cargo Train Guide. They either despawn or load again and leave. The trains from the 2 way side can’t go out the other side because the 1 way rail is incoming. The trains on the 1 way tracks despawn after unloading. 2: Export out on cargo plane 3: Go by rail out the other end either to commercial area, generic industry, or export out on rail. 1: Stay local and be used for unique factories. The goods from my Ore, Oil, Forrest, Farm have 3 options to move along. That side is connected to a regular cargo station at a big commercial area, a regular cargo station at a big generic industry area, and then all of that connects to external connections. On the other side of the cargo airport hub is 2 way rail.

This hub is located in an area where all of my unique factories are, along with warehouses for each type of good. Those use 1 way rail going out, joining a single 1 way rail going to 1 side of a cargo airport hub. I have regular cargo station at my Ore, Oil, Forrest, Farm areas.
